Grow Force at Waddecar

Countryside & Land Agency Charitable Trust	These VERY nice people were the first to appreciate what we were trying to do and funded the purchase of the Polytunnel and the fruit cages in response to our grant application. These are the people whose funding helped move the project from a dream into reality
First Tunnels	Using our grant from the CLA, we purchased a 40' x 14' polytunnel from these people who also gave us a generous upgrade to suit our needs better. We also subsequently purchased a number of tools from them too.
Lancashire County Council's Community Design Scheme	Tim from LCC was a big help for us in getting the project underway. Not only did he manage to get proper drawings produced for us to work from using the Community Design scheme, he also managed to secure some funding for us to help us move much further forward than we'd ever imagined possible in such a short space of time. In particular, Tim helped to get 200 new trees delivered which our first Grow Force team then planted and mulched. These now make a fantastic addition to Bill's Meadow
